Research

This skill allows a character to do research (either with a single book or in a library). This may net the character Experience Points or other useful knowledge.

Higher ranks in this skill mean that the character is more likely to find something of value or interest when doing research.

This is a poor choice of starting skill for most characters, as the need to research is not apparent until later in the game.
