Catala is the name of a large island within the Terracopian archipelago. It lies in the west of the archipelago, east of Terra Lusa and north of Atlantis. It is home to two sovereign states: Iberia and the Caliphate of Andalusia.

Due to its complex geography, Catala has an extremely diverse climate.
